Companion app · iOS, iPadOS & Android

Your console, in your pocket.

AppRelay Remote pairs with the console on your Mac or Windows PC over your own Wi-Fi. Browse every project, kick off a build, watch the output stream back, and review run history — from the couch, the next room, or the standup.

Every screen, on every size.

What it does

A remote control for everything you ship.

The Mac or PC keeps the toolchains, repos, and secrets. The phone commands it and watches the results come back.

Every project, mirrored

The console’s whole workspace on your phone — search, sort, and filter by suite, then open any project’s lanes.

Build, run & test Studio

Kick off a lane’s build, run, or test on your computer and watch it work — the toolchains stay on the machine.

Live output, as it runs Studio

Raw xcodebuild, Gradle, and script output streams back to the phone — and you can stop a run mid-flight.

Run history

One feed across every project — what passed, what failed, how many steps it finished, and how long ago it started.

Manage & bulk edit

Retag projects into suites, edit their settings, or drop them from the console — one at a time or in bulk.

Encrypted, per-device pairing

Found automatically over your Wi-Fi and paired with a one-time token. No account, no cloud — nothing leaves your network.

Pairing and both apps are free. Driving builds from your phone runs over the relay server — an AppRelay Studio feature on your Mac or Windows console.

Pairing

On your network in about a minute.

Turn on the server

In AppRelay on your computer, open Settings → Remote and switch the relay server on. It’s off by default.

Pair the app

The app finds your computer over Wi-Fi. Scan the QR code from Relay Monitor, or type the host, port, and token.

Build from anywhere on Wi-Fi

Every request from then on carries its own encrypted, per-device token. A menu-bar mode keeps it running in the background.

Built LAN-first

Your machine, your network, your keys.

AppRelay Remote never phones home. The connection is local, encrypted, and only exists while you allow it — and the secrets that ship your apps never leave the computer.

  • Off by default and LAN-only. Discovered over Bonjour, paired once with a token, then every request carries its own 192-bit, per-device token.
  • Secrets stay on the computer. The API reports whether a credential is set — never its value.
  • A destructive release needs an explicit confirm, and store channels can’t be shipped from the phone at all.
  • A live Relay Monitor on the computer logs every request the phone makes, so you can watch exactly what it did.
